Reflections of week 1...

Throughout my reading, I learned a lot of new things, but the one thing that really captured my attention was a portion in Chapter 1: "Want to win big in Vegas? Bet on an IT job, not the Super Bowl." (2008, O'brien) This section just leaped out of the page at me! I always knew that I would need to relocate to get a better job in the IT field, but this was my confirmation. I am so totally open to absorb every morsal of information while at UMUC so that I can go "all in" and move to Vegas!

    Yes, the odds of success is higher with an IT job than the Super Bowl. It is much more satisfying and fun to do IT (unless the Redskins are in the Super Bowl),
